NUTCRACKER 2021 INFORMATION:

Auditions for The Nutcracker will be held on Sunday, September 19th at the Classical
Ballet of WNY studios at 8180 Main St in Clarence. Your audition time depends on your
ballet class level, so please check the following carefully:

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 19th:

Ballet 8 and Advanced Ballet-  Please bring pointe shoes (girls) and ballet slippers

10:45am       Studio will open for registration and warm-up

11:15-1:30   Ballet 8 & Advanced Ballet Audition

 

Ballet 6 and Ballet 7 

1:00-1:30    Registration and warm-up

1:30-3:00    Ballet 6 & Ballet 7 Audition

 

Ballet 3 and Ballet 4

2:45           Registration begins

3:00-4:15   Ballet 3 and Ballet 4

 

Ballet 1B and Ballet 2

4:00         Registration begins

4:15-5:30 Ballet 1B and Ballet 2 Audition

 

Dress Rehearsal and Performance Schedule

THE ABOVE PERFORMANCES WILL BE DIVIDED INTO 2 CASTS

• REHEARSALS will begin Sunday, Sept 26th for most, but not all, parts

• Angel rehearsals will begin in mid-October

• Nutcracker rehearsals will be evenly divided between the Lockport studios & the Clarence studios.

• There is a Performance Fee for each cast member, which will range from $60-$120, depending on your level and part.

• Each family is required to sell at least one box of candy bars.

• You may sign up (at the studio) your 4 or 5 year old to be an Angel in The Nutcracker on a first come, first served basis. Please remember that Angel positions are limited, so sign up early.

• Children age 6 and older have to audition for The Nutcracker. If you are unable to attend the audition, we may still be able to have a part for you.
